Abstract: The term prameha (madhumeha) is known as Diabetes in modern terminology i.e. Diabetes mellitus. It is a metabolic disorder and Insulin quality, production and quantity is affected on the onset of Diabetes. Some time due to some physiological disorders the body is unable to utilize insulin properly and to neutralize the sugar in the Blood.
