Abstract: According to an estimate of World Health Organization (WHO) nearly 80% of the population of developing countries rely on traditional medicine, mostly on plant drugs for their primary health care needs. WHO recommends herbal drugs in its natural health care programme. World wide increase in the use of herbal medicines is due to its low cost, availability, affordability and people have faith in these remedies. |
