INTRODUCTION: On behalf of Indian
Pharmaceutical Congress Association, it is my proud
privilege to extend warm welcome to all delegates from
India and abroad. I find many senior pharmacists, my
teachers, past presidents of IPCA and dignitaries in the
audience. I pay my respect to them and extend warm
welcome. The 61st Indian Pharmaceutical Congress is
being organized in the beautiful venue of Nirma
University Campus at Ahmedabad, Gujarat which is a land
of great Indians, father of nation Mahatma Gandhi, the
Iron Man of India Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel and Dr.
Vikram Sarabhai, legendry scientist of modern India. The
congress with theme Pharma Vision 2020 - “Building Trust
in Safety and Efficacy of Medicines” is hosted by the
All India Drugs Control Officers’ Confederation.
