Abstract: Nature cure or Naturopathy is
believed to be a system of medicine which treats a
patient by employing natural methods in compliance with
nature’s laws. It is a drugless therapy. “Laws of Nature
are the same as Laws of God” - Mahatma Gandhi.
Hippocrates
A German physician in 650 B.C. had said ‘Vis Medicatrix
Naturae’ - meaning ‘Only Nature Cures’. He had also said
‘Let Food be thy Medicine & Medicine, thy Food’
Hippocrates is considered the Father of ‘Modern
Medicine’ Treatment with Naturopathy means treatments
employing, the FIVE basic elements of nature viz. Air,
Space, Fire, Earth & Water. This is the reason why a
Naturopath employs.
