Introduction
Medical Representatives, in general, meet the customers,
i.e. the Doctors, detail about the products being
promoted, give them physician samples, literature/leave
behinds, etc. as per sales/marketing plan/strategy. In
case the Doctors come out with any query on the product,
even if it is not highly technical, they are unable to
answer such queries, and such queries are often referred
back to the Company’s Marketing/Medical Dept to deal
with. In effect, they simply act as Couriers/Postmen
between the Company and the customers.
