Introduction
Gone are those days when India used to be portrayed as a nation marked with a vast population of clumsy people, unreliable quality and sluggish growth. Today, the country is marching ahead at an unprecedented and enviable economic growth and industrial development. India is one of the most sought-after countries by the developed world for outsourcing myriad services and facilities including information and communication technology. A relatively recent feather in its cap has been the unprecedented upsurge witnessed in the domain of clinical research outsourcing.
