University Technology Transfer: A Case of A Few Select Universities in India

Introduction: The Miglanis, earlier known as Minglanis, originally belonged to Sindh province. Because of ethnic troubles there at a distant past, they moved northwards and settled in towns on the banks of Sindh river, ultimately reaching the Punjab province.
Bhagwan Dass, second of the three sons and a daughter of Lala Lachhman Dass Miglani and Gopali Devi, was born on 15 September 1929, at village Shahani of Mianwali district. The family later shifted to Rawalpindi where Bhagwan’s father worked as Corporate Secretary for the Mahalaxmi Sugar Mills. Bhagwan Dass completed his school and two years of college studies there. On partition of the country in 1947 the family moved to India and got located at Delhi.
