Abstract: Aceclofenac - bCD and aceclofenac - HPbCD tablets were prepared by direct compression method employing Prosolve (50%) as directly compressible vehicle and were evaluated. In respect of drug content, hardness, friability, D.T. & dissolution. Aceclofenac - bCD tablets exhibited significantly higher dissolution rate and efficiency than plain and market aceclofenac tablets as well as aceclofenac - HPbCD tablets. A 12.7 fold increase in the dissolution rate of aceclofenac was observed with aceclofenac - bCD (1:2 ) tablets.
