Abstract: The Neem tree (Azadirachta indica) is
regarded as one of Mother Nature's gift to the world. In
India, it is commonly found in house compounds of
villages and cities. Neem extracts have considerable
antiseptic affects and are used as a skin care agent in
soaps and shampoos. Neem is also clinically proven to be
an effective analgesic and anti-inflammatory, relieving
both pain and inflammation. These qualities along with
the above mentioned properties of Neem makes so
effective against serious skin conditions like eczema,
psoriasis, acne, dermatitis, shingles, jock itch,
athletes foot, ring worm, scabies, lice, candid etc.
Lotions and creams containing Neem oil and Neem leaf
extracts are effective externally on skin and Neem
capsules and Neem teas are effectively detoxify the
blood of impurities that are the main source of skin
problems. |
