Introduction: Industrial Wastewater Treatment operators are faced with numerous day to day challenges to keep their facilities fully operational and in compliance with Local and State regulations.
Wastewater treatment is generally carried out in three stages:1. Primary treatment: wherein the effluent is neutralized and undissolved particles are sedimented. 2. Secondary treatment: wherein the sub-colloidal particles and dissolved pollutants are oxidized biologically by bacteria and other microbes. 3. Tertiary treatment: wherein the water is filtered for lowering of TDS and other left out impurities.
